The first part was promising but the rest seemed rushed and too short. I've been looking forward to this book for a while. It's seemed liked a YA BOOK but with a concept of breeders and being untouched the big unravel of being untouched should have been more especially with the build up. Book 2 has the potential to develop the characters and concept I want more of Jarrett, Ethan cousin got away, Mason, crazy guys and the villain., her sister and niece, her brother... I don't mind the wait if the book is given it's time be more complete.Product details

Very interesting premise. Love connection was a little rushed but I never lost interest. Looking forward to the next book in the series
This is darker than I usually like, but the story is REALLY good. There are some interesting twists along the way, and the heroine is loveable.
Great start to the series. Kayla goes into hiding at Mason's club. Mason promises to keep he safe and help her get her sister back, in exchange for a cording. Kayla will do anything to get her sister and niece back. So she agrees to be corded. She has no idea what sh'e gotten herself into; but, with time comes a reward and also big trouble. Love it!
First of all I can't believe I have never read this book before. Seriously! It's so good. I am beyond excited to see what happens next. If you are looking for something a little different to read, this is your book.. it deserves more stars than I can give. It's on my top 10 favorite books ever.
I love the savage feel of this dystopian world that Alyssa Rose Ivy has created. It's like more cutthroat version of a hand Maiden's tale. Mason is up there with James and Hunter as two of my favorite male characters Alyssa has written. He is very sexy. Kayla is a smart and brave heroine, I absolutely love her. A great read over all.
I actually liked this book a lot except for the ending. The author built up to the climax then stopped in the middle of it. I think books should have a warning if they are going to end in a cliffhanger. I would rather wait and start a series when it's complete then wait months to see what happens next.
Cliffhangers really irritate me and I tend to loose interest fast. The reason most of us read in to enjoy a really interesting and complete story.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Alyssa Rose Ivy has totally knocked it out of the park with this one!!! Now, it's no secret that I am a huge fan of Alyssa Rose Ivy's paranormal romances, so when I found out that she was writing a dystopian novel, I just knew I had to read it! And boy, does she not disappoint!!
Corded is the first book in an exciting new series from Alyssa Rose Ivy. Corded is unlike anything that we've ever seen from this author before. Told from dual points of view, Corded follows the story of Kayla and Mason. Kayla has lived her entire life in hiding. She lives in a society where being a woman is a not only rare, but also a crime. People will stop at nothing to get their hands on a woman. Everyday that Kayla is alive, is a dangerous one. If Kayla thought being hidden from society was tough, she was in for a tough surprise. When Kayla and her sister are kidnapped, her entire world will be turned upside down. Kayla will stop at nothing to save and free her sister. There is no price too high. Kayla will go and do things that she never expected to save her family, even seeking help from a dangerous club and its leader, Mason. Just how far will Kayla go to save her sister??? Corded was a thrilling and entertaining read. I was pulled in from the very first page and easily got lost in this dystopian world that Alyssa Rose Ivy created. It was so unique and so refreshing.
Mason was a really special treat. I'm not gonna lie, I was totally on the fence about him in the beginning and I totally questioned his intentions over the course of the story. But, in the end, he totally won me over. So, when you meet Mason, don't discount him.
There is so much more to Corded than meets the eye. The setting and story-line are amazing. I loved the theme of family, of how important it was and just how rare and special women were. I loved seeing some light and sweet moments in a dark and harsh world. This story is definitely darker than what we normally see from this author and while the world she created may have been a harsh one, it is definitely one that will keep you on your toes and quickly turning the pages.
Corded is a fast paced and exciting read. This story is incredibly well written and thrilling. I think that the author was incredibly brave taking on the dystopian genre. It is something totally different from her and I am so excited to see where she is going to take our characters and their story next. And I promise you, after Corded, you are going to be begging the author to get Book 2 in your hands, asap!
